The Ocean Spa at Cambridge Beaches has provided luxurious relaxation and a wide variety of beauty therapies since it opened in 1997. It is operated by BerSalon Company Limited (Spas & Salons of Bermuda). Combining the best of European Spa Health and Beauty Therapy treatments with the excellent fitness programmes found in North America spas, The Ocean Spa has been frequently recognized by spa and travel publications.

European-trained beauty, therapy and hair-dressing staff are qualified to London City & Guilds standards, which are recognised worldwide as the premier qualification in the spa industry. Plus, several of the therapists are qualified to practise aromatherapy, Reiki, and reflexology forms of holistic therapy. Deep tissue and craniosacral therapies are also available. Certification to practise these therapies requires the practitioner to undergo intensive postgraduate training.

Only the very finest products are used at The Ocean Spa, including: skin care preparations by Guinot of Paris, inch loss and Cellulite treatments by Micromode Medical of London, pure aromatherapy oils by Shirley Price of England, hairdressing products by Redken New York, balneotherapy water treatments and marine algae body masques by Phytomer of Brittany, France, nail products from Jessica Nails of California.
Massages, holistic therapies, body care and facials and signature treatments are available.
Located in the Ocean Spa on the upper level Aquarian Baths is the Cambridge Beaches fitness centre, open to all guests 16 years of age or older. The equipment includes Life Cycles, treadmills, steppers, two rowing machines and Cybex fixed and free weights.
Just outside the centre you'll find a freshwater roman-style pool and solarium with retractable sunroof, a "Swimex" lap pool, and private whirlpool bath. Sauna and steam are located downstairs.

The Ocean Spa area and are available for a small charge.

The place : Bermuda is a 21 square mile island, 650 miles east-southeast of North Carolina, USA. Bermuda′s appeal lies in its sub-tropical nature, temperate climate and rich tapestry of cultures. Fresh ocean breezes are warmed year round and scented with gardenias, spice and stephanotis. Bermuda′s heritage dates back 400 years to Britain, Africa, the Azores, North America and the West Indies. There are 94 cottage style rooms and suites, each with its own unique name and decor. The property is surrounded by 296 acres of private beaches and coves. There are fours types of cottage rooms offered at Cambridge Beaches: Standard gardenview, Standard waterview, Deluxe waterview, Deluxe Premium waterview.

Every cottage room and suite at Cambridge Beaches is completely different. All are individually-decorated and each has its own lay-out, fabrics, furniture, personality, private patio or terrace, water or garden view. Standard Gardenview Waterview bedrooms are decorated with colourful fabrics and comfortable furnishings, includes a marble bathroom, and offers a private terrace or patio with beautiful garden or water views.

Deluxe are spacious bedrooms with sitting and dressing area, traditional decor, a marble bathroom with whirlpool tub, and a private terrace or patio that offers a lush garden or lovely water view.

Deluxe Premium rooms are spacious bedrooms with traditional or contemporary decor, that include a sitting and dressing area, plus a larger, luxurious marble bathroom, some with glass-enclosed showers and separate whirlpool tubs. All Deluxe Premium rooms offer a lovely water view and some can connect with other rooms.

All cottage rooms include: a king bed which can be separated into twin beds, upon request; television in room with pay-per-view movies; high speed internet access; a small refrigerator that can be stocked with beverage items upon request ; amenities: toiletries, telephone, radio, safe, robes, beach towels, hair dryer, toaster, iron, stationary, CD player.

Suites have a large bedroom with a separate dressing area and a separate living room, all of which are furnished with antiques and comfortable furniture. Most are decorated in traditional, colorful chintzs. A private patio offers either a water or garden view. The marble bathroom boasts a spacious whirlpool tub. A king size bed can be separated into two twin beds upon request. Amenities are the same as in cottage rooms except that some suites have fireplaces for use between November - April when the temperatures are Spring-like (daytime around 65°F / 18°C, night time cooler).

At last, Cambridge Beaches features 3, two-bedroom cottages that offer accommodation for four persons and are wonderful for entertaining or special events, meetings or family gatherings. All offer greater privacy as well.

Restaurants : Restaurant "Tamarisk room"
Recently chosen by Food&Wine magazine as one of Bermuda's best restaurants, Tamarisk Room uses only the freshest ingredients: seafood, fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs grown in the Cambridge garden, fresh bread, pastries and homemade ice cream are made daily on the property.

There is a wonderful wine cellar offering vintage brands to pair with every course. Dress code: jacket and ties are optional, though the style very much remains on the side of elegance and good taste. A collared shirt is expected and no jeans are permitted.

Restaurant "Breezes"
Breezes is the waterfront alfresco cafe right on Long Bay Beach. Delicious trendy cuisine and casual dining means a fun, informal option for guests who long to linger by the sand and sea from May through October and is included in the MAP meal plan for guests.

Sports et leisures : Water activities abound at Cambridge Beaches. The beaches and natural coves that surround the property are optimum for sun-bathing, swimming or snorkelling. The marina offers any type of water equipment or boat for rent including motor and sail boats, kayaks, windsurfers, snorkel gear and fishing equipment. Scuba gear is also available and instruction can be arranged.

Just a short walk from Cambridge Beaches along a winding picturesque road is Somerset, a charming little town with shops, a ferry stop and a post office. The entire area is wonderful to explore on foot, by bicycle or moped, to enjoy views of surrounding waterways. For walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers, a visit to the Bermuda Railway Trails is recommended for the stunning views and pastoral tranquillity.

Golf is great in Bermuda and a championship course is just moments away by taxi. With confirmed reservations, you can fill a pre-arrival Golf form for tee times at courses of your choosing. Access : By car
